Today at the hospital as soon as my sister and I walked into the ER where my feeble granny was my sister broke down and started crying. Honestly I didn’t feel like crying at that moment.

But once I got into the car by myself I felt like crying. This whole day I have been surrounded by people so I didn’t feel like crying. But now that it’s late at night and I should be sleeping I feel like crying.

I’m not close to people in my family – but I used to be. So all these old feelings are being rehashed in time of illness and shattered hips.

I’ve had a headache twice this week and I never get headaches anymore… I want to have a schedule again. I want people to stop losing their jobs, getting cancer, bleeding into their brains, breaking hips, and everything changing for the worse in this downward spiral.

It’s hard to find the time and motivation to do my laundry let alone go to work in the morning to a job that I loathe lately. I just want some things to be good. I want to play videogames and have fun. I want to go take pictures with the lens I got for my birthday and have barely played with. I want to stop worrying about money and stop feeling stress over the awful things in life.

I know I can’t change any of them and I know I should just chill out, but it’s a lot easier said than done.

I’ll end on this note. Sirens passed by on Midland late in the night when all is quiet and the house is opened up because it’s a cool summer night and my dogs started howling to the sound and I felt like I finally had someone that was crying with me. And it was a peaceful moment.

None of my professors were able to give me a syllabus this semester because BSU said printing was too expensive.

Today on campus there is a pink piece of paper on every vehicle saying that students can’t park here during the game Saturday.

Way to go BSU, way to go. Obviously parking for your precious football games is more important than the educational aspect of college.

Crash Course

This semester I am enrolled in BIO 227, PSYC 321, PSYC 331 and GENBUS 202.

3 out of the 4 are towards my major, and I was taking the business one with Andrew just for the fun of it. Well after sitting through the first real lecture today I did not like it or find it relevant at all. So I am going to drop it, as is Andrew.

The debate comes now if I should try frantically to add another class or if I just want to roll with 11 credits. I’m not opposed to adding another class, but I want to take one that is relevant to my major-

BSU is overpopulated. The chances of me getting a good class now that it is already Thursday of the first week of school doesn’t seem possible. I’m not thrilled about only taking 11 credits, but unless I want my stress level to boil over the top I think that is the way it is going to be this semester. I feel so lame.

It never fails, those people who seem like they are “doing so well” financially are always in a ton of debt, just wait til you have to pay those loans then we will see who is better off.

“Police ask teens to stop playing dangerous game

Associated Press LEWISTON — Dozens of teens in Lewiston are filling the warm summer nights with a cat-and-mouse-type game called “Fugitive” that has them running and hiding their way across town.

But now police are asking them to stop, or at least to find a more rural area for the game. That’s because the kids have drawn gunfire from a resident who apparently mistook them for burglars.

No one was injured by the shots. But police Capt. Tom Greene says his department is concerned about what might happen next.

He says the kids could be confronted or hurt by a resident who thinks they are late-night prowlers as they sneak through backyards.”

I remember our group used to play this game all the time in high school. Haha.

So today at work I had 3 fat chicks sitting at one of my tables. They all worked together and were on a lunch break, they paid with a company credit card.

They ordered 2 iced teas, 1 strawberry lemonade, 2 chicken sandwiches and 1 salad. I greeted them in a timely manner, got them their drinks, took their order, brought them refills, brought their food, dropped off the check, and they were rude the entire time.

It’s people that are rude the entire time that you know they are going to leave you a crappy tip. After they left I was clearing their dishes and found a pair of sunglasses. I walked out to the parking lot and caught them in their car and returned the sunglasses.

On my way back inside I looked in my book to see how much they tipped. On a $37 ticket the tipped me $2… I should have kept the sunglasses.
